For an export cam­paign the Inter­net con­cern Google made a video about ETHEN ROHRE GmbH in Aachen. On the web­site Weltweitwach​sen​.de, Google presents small and medi­um-sized com­pa­nies that world­wide find and convince cus­tomers with AdWords. ETHEN ROHRE was select­ed by Google as a tes­ti­mo­ni­al for the eye-catch­ing cam­paign, because the Aachen-based com­pa­ny suc­cess­ful­ly inter­na­tion­alised its busi­ness radius with the intel­li­gent com­bi­na­tion of key­words and text dis­plays. Already today about 25 per­cent of the capillary and precision tubes produced are deliv­ered to cus­tomers abroad. Our cus­tomers are dis­trib­uted all over the world and work in coun­tries as diverse as Argenti­na or China.

Google thought that the sto­ry of ETHEN ROHRE was so con­vinc­ing that they had a lav­ish video on the com­pa­ny and its man­ag­ing direc­tor Tobias Kirch produced by a renowned doc­u­men­tary film­mak­er. The “Ethen movie” was pub­lished recent­ly on the cam­paign web­site Weltweitwach​sen​.de.

“We are hap­py that our inter­na­tion­al­i­sa­tion activ­i­ties are acknowl­edged and doc­u­ment­ed with this film by Google. That encour­ages us to fur­ther glob­alise our busi­ness and to ded­i­cate our­selves to open­ing up new, inter­na­tion­al mar­kets”, so the expla­na­tion of the man­ag­ing direc­tor of Ethen-Rohre, Tobias Kirch. “This year, we focus main­ly on Great Britain, France and the Low Coun­tries”, as he explained further.

Weltweitwach​sen​.de is a Google ini­tia­tive imple­ment­ed with part­ners from a sci­en­tif­ic and indus­tri­al back­ground. These e.g. include DHL or Pay­pal, the uni­ver­si­ties and/​or col­leges of Reut­lin­gen and Leipzig and the Alexan­der Hum­boldt Insti­tute for Inter­net and Soci­ety. In addi­tion to the ini­tia­tive, a study on the importance of the Inter­net for the Ger­man for­eign busi­ness was pub­lished, which is also avail­able as a down­load on the website.
